By far one of our favorite date spots!!! Wednesday nights are free open mic night and one night we popped in after dinner by chance and saw Chelsea Peretti from Brooklyn 99! She gave an impromptu set and it was so great! We most recently saw Damon Wayons there. It’s our go-to spot for a casual setting and good laughs!

Want a cool local spot to see indie films? This is the place! They regularly show classic films and usually have special screenings and film festivals! Check it out!

Wow. Olympia Coffee Roasters is by far our favorite local coffee, hands down! The owners source their beans from specific countries and bring their beans to be roasted in Olympia! The Olympia location has a viewing area to their roasting process and a coffee sampling as well. The Tacoma location is uniquely situated in the popular and walkable Proctor district. You won’t be disappointed with anything you choose! Just have a seat, take a sip and relax and enjoy!

This is such a cool and unique neighborhood spot. Whether you go for a good meal or a nice cup of craft coffee or even for a business meeting you’ll be both impressed with the atmosphere and surrounding. Definitely worth a visit!

Mince Mercantile is a wonderful neighborhood staple. After the DuPont General Store closed, the town was in need of a new business to step in. Mince, or sometimes referred to as, “The Merc,” is a one-stop shop for one of a kind gifts, homemade bakery items, craft PNW wine and beers and a dine-in spot for breakfast/lunch. They offer WiFi to working professionals on the go and craft coffee. They often host community events and you will likely see Virginia Mince, the owner, decorating custom cookies. It’s a gem of a place and the heart of DuPont. I’m glad they exist and hope they are here to stay.
